Just for an easy visual reference- these are the screengrabs comparing the heights of the original 14-story proposal with the revised 17-story proposal on the right. Three more floors on a project like this adds quite a bit so I'm hoping this gets final approval on Wednesday

thanks for adding these. i'm a fan of the height increase. love the look of the glass all the way up the side.

Height increase helped this one in a big way imo. feels way more complete in a way in terms of massing.

It's amazing what a little bit of height can do to a design. Looks so much more sleek and slender.

Will this be the only hotel in the state (country?) to have an active church rectory inside of it? Must rare if not unique.

I was thinking that too. It doesn't make it a great building, but it does make it a better one. The shorter version looked like a bank on 410. The taller one belongs downtown.

Awesome news! Like mentioned above, this project went from not bad to a great addition. All it needed was a few more floors. Excited about this one!
