I went out today, got myself another hot chocolate (large....it's cold out there, and decided I'd need it for my plans for the day). I didn't check my rim until I came home, having ripped the rim off my cup before I went off on my walk. Just now, I checked my rim, and I ended up winning a coffee.

(1/1)

In terms of Tim Horton's, or really any coffee house or shop, I tend to go to any, as long as it's convenient for me. I find Tim Hortons to have a great strategy in terms of store location, to maximize that sense of convenience for a large customer base, and agree that Tim Horton's, even through it's less than spectacular quality or image, will definitely continue being the staple for Canadians, mostly due to the convenience of it.

I actually got a frozen donut at Tims once. frozen solid. apparently they forgot to put it through the 'par-baker' (superficial flash bake to keep the customers confused).

About 15 or 16 years ago, my Dad got a bagel that was well toasted on the outside but frozen on the inside. He went back to the counter and the manager felt so badly and embarrassed that he gave my Dad a bag of a dozen frozen Tim's bagels to take home with him!!

Five for eight now. I'm expecting to go 0-for-20 on my next purchases so things balance out.
