{SA} Leave a Legacy Through The "Paver Project" (Engraved bricks to line Riverwalk)

Quote:
Want to get your mom something different for Mother's Day? Looking for that special birthday or anniversary present? Want to leave your own mark on San Antonio? How about a gift that will become part of San Antonio's future?

The River Foundation is selling engraved bricks to line the San Antonio River.

The bricks will be placed along the new Museum Reach portion of the river. That's the part of the river that will expand north out of Downtown.

The pavers are 3.5 inches wide and 7.5 inches long. They'll begin laying them this fall.

The cost is either $150 or $250, depending on where you want your brick.

FYI, that is the San Antonio Museum of Art (in the far background) on Jones Ave in what is no River North.

I liked how they matched the bridge to the towers and skywalk of the museum.

Where are the Cypress trees in that rendering? They should plant those all along the extension as well.
