I thought this one was interesting. Somebody wandering around downtown Halifax during the evening. It's long and looks basically unedited. It gives an impression of what it's like to be there that you don't get from pictures and it doesn't have a staged or artificial feel.

Thanks! And the empty city due to the covid-19 lockdown is adding a little bit to the ''haunting ambiance''...

A little aerial and non-aerial tour of the «Place des arts» district (Montréal). As a bonus, «the beautiful blue Danube». Seriously, a very good video. Enjoy.

I hope we get videos of downtown Toronto...I can never get enough of the 6ix especially being from here...you can easily compare Toronto to American cities such as New York and Chicago

Did a 3-day hike with a buddy in august along the sea-to-sky corridor above Vancouver. Didn't bring enough water (totally dehydrated by the time we got to the closest water source at the end of day 2) but did bring my drone! lol

Also did some flying in coal harbour and english bay

I was at Gwangalli Beach in Busan this weekend. It's one of the main beach strip in the area.

Awesome. I love the camping spot you chose. What a location!

How do you find flying in Vancouver? Did you get an advance drone license or can you just throw the drone up for a couple of minutes and hope for the best? I'll be moving back to Vancouver, and while I'll probably have to get for the advanced drone license for work, I've noticed a lot of people flying in Vancouver without one. I'd like to get some footage around the metro region while I study for the all of the tests etc.

Under 250g technically there are no licensing requirements or restrictions on where you can fly, other than the restricted areas on the DJI app (flightpaths to airports). Most downtown areas are "authorization zones" which means I have to check-in on the app to be able to fly (maybe in case any incidents occur).

Still, when I was in Coal Harbour, I did my take-offs and landings as quickly as possible to minimize the time that people hear the buzzing of the drone (at a distance that they can trace back to me lol). Don't want to have to deal with Karens. Almost crashed into the Flatiron condo while doing that pan shot towards the mountains lmao

Gotcha. Thanks.

Maybe I'll grab a 250g drone to mess around with while I try to get the advance license.

Here's another video I made while in the 'tourist trap' that are the Busan city beaches. There's a decent amount of city porn in there.

would be great to have a separate thread for virtual walks. it's a great way to get to know a city. much better than farway pics.

love watching the walks.
