St. Louis on Acid--Victorian West Virginia

I recently took a day trip to Wheeling, West Virginia. It is about an hour and 15 minutes from Pittsburgh, but the drive was completely worth it. Much of the city is rundown, but there are still some architectural gems to be found...check out why West Virginia is wild and wonderful...

Wheeling packs a punch for being such a small city. Beautiful.

Thanks for taking pictures of my hometown. He is right that the city is mostly decayed, and doesn't have much hope of ever coming back, but there are still many gems from years past that are left for now.

I have no idea why they colored them the way they did...pretty sweet though, very unique.

The title of the thread is "St Louis on Acid"?

Not sure I quite get it or see the relativity.
