Census tracts sometimes contain multiple "communities" within them and/or don't always respect neighborhood boundaries. They are further subdivided into dissemination areas. Since 2016 Statscan has made this DA data available for everyone.
I've been going through some Toronto tracts (though this can of course be done for other cities and subdivided them into different neighborhoods/sections.
I am going to start with Tract 168, in the old borough of York.

I split this in two with Oakwood Ave. as the divide. West of Oakwood Ave. is the lower income the "Little Jamaica" area, east of Oakwood is whiter and more middle income.

Visible minority 71.5% (Black 23.8%, Filipino 25.2%)
University graduates: 27%
Average income: $28,851
East of Oakwood
Population: 3,160
Visible minority: 39.4% (Black 9%, Filipino 12%)
University graduates: 42.4%
Average income: $43,970
