What is the Connectivity event?
Connectivity is a lecture, a workshop, and a wayfinding walk designed to engage the Edmonton public on their opinions on the state of our communities with regard to health and well-being, and an exploration of how we can increase positive connections within our city.
These events will be facilitated by Dr. Karen Lee, a global specialist in healthy built environments and social determinants of health (
www.drkarenlee.com). Dr. Lee will lead a conversation about how to create a healthy, walkable, connected city, and discuss case studies of feasible and low-cost solutions. The day’s activities will use the 105th Avenue corridor as a case study to explore how Edmonton's mature neighbourhoods can flourish as vibrant, walkable, healthy communities.
