The floors are not twisted. The balconies just cantilever out one side for half the tower than outside the other for the other half.

Very simple way to create a slight twisting effect, but in reality every floorplate will be the same, outside of the balconies.

Thus far, the cladding looks very nice.

Too bad there's already an overabundance of glass in the area.

The scale of the podium is weak. I bet a lot of forumers, like myself, are afraid of a tower in the park like outcome.

City Place makes for a nice skyline, but at street level... it's dreary. It feels like a vertical suburb.

I don't believe he was critiquing ICE in that respect, but rather most of the buildings that surround it.

The balconies change shape? I don't recall seeing any renders that suggested that, does that appear to be evident at the buildings current height.

The Balconies seem to be offset from lower to upper levels

I guess its not accurate to say they don't change shape. But its not really a twist, they just off-set half way up. Should look good though.

The balcony glass makes it or breaks it.

I just realized that some units will have no balcony. I for one would never use a balcony 50+ floors up. I'd rather have windows and more interior space then a sliding door out to a small windswept space.

It is interesting to note that ICE will have juliet balconies.

You can see the 'clips' in that photo. I was always under the impression that one side would be balconies and the other just glass. But the render does show the juliet balconies and how the balcony glass continues to flow around the entire perimeter of the building. A nice touch!
