^ I think the key to identifying Van in that shot is that all the towers are ~25 floors. Toronto's would be much higher, wouldn't they?

Telus IS INCREDIBLY bright right now.. (and the fins look SOOO Dark!)

It's just like RBC was for the past few months (incredible bright interior lighting) cause they are furnishing each floor... ALL the lights are on at certain floors and it just stands out WAAY too much!.. It will (hopefully) change when things are all said and done

MLS roof is taking longer than I expected

^^i don't disagree with those points Coldrsx (& bulliver). it's that particular shot in question that can be confused imo.

also becuase it seems cityplace in t.o. has a building or two popping up like a mushroom every few months that even people that live around here can be... out of the loop.

I don't see how that looks anything like Cityplace unless glass is all you can see. It's a masterplanned point on podium area but still, you can clearly see the evolution of tower design in the past 15 years and make out it wasn't all built by the same developer. So far, Cityplace is a masterplanned perimeter block development, wedged between two rail corridors, clearly built by one developer, and at a far, far greater scale.

Knowitall (aka Skyscrapergeek-in-Chief) obviously didn't read my post before he responded.

Just wanted to make sure I was being clear.

also, it's that particular shot ( that particular shot! ) that can be confused (esp. by non skyscraper nerds) -not the areas of each city in general themselves.

I know what you said, knows nothing at all. I just dismiised it eventhouugh I know there are plenty of fools around that would be confused. Those types also can't distinguish Chrysler from Empire or the gas pedal form the brake.

All I can say is, "Wow, what an asshole for driving away!" I hope using the video they caught this guy.

Anyways, not everyone in the world is a skyscraper geek, the same way not everyone in this world is a weather geek.

For a weather and biogeography geek (such as myself) could probably laugh at someone like Sammo for confusing two different ecosystems as the same (an example of this would be Vancouver to Victoria, two completely different biogeographical regions, but people often class them as the same, the fools!) Also people often confuse 2 or more different tree species around here as being the same tree! LOL to that hey Sammo? There are also a variety of bamboo species people can plant around here in their gardens, again people often think they are all the same, idiots.
those are just a few examples of how stupid people can be...

Now that is good news she was caught.

Not to be sexist, but in a way it does make it funnier to know it was a girl, just because it was a girl driving a big SUV to her fitness center and she confused the brake with the gas, i Know exactly what type of girl she is, hahahaha. Also the pause before she drives away just adds to the "what are you going to do?" moment.

If it were a guy, I was going to assume he was drunk or on meth, haha!
