Also, regarding cities as a place of luxury but also danger, as opposed to the countryside, going back more than two thousand years, there's of course the old classic Aesop's fable, the country mouse and the city mouse, where the city mouse gets to live a lavish lifestyle of table scraps with constant danger and risk from the cat, versus the safe but plain countryside.

Yes I also like to point this out. How many multi-ethnic mega nations of at least 100 million exist?

China, Brazil, Indonesia, USA, Nigeria, Russia, India....

The USA is doing pretty good. Its not really fair to compare Denmark to The United States, however if you compare like Vermont to Denmark, its more reasonable and fairly comparable.

I suppose you could argue either side being a fair comparison, with the US being similar or different.

On the one hand, the US is among the 100 million-plus multi-ethnic nations, but not like them because it's richer and more developed than them, so some could say it's not a fair comparison.

On the other hand, the US is rich and developed, but then none of the other rich, developed nations are 100 million-plus and multi-ethnic, they're too small, so some could again say it's not a fair comparison.
