Denver looks like one of the nicest mid-sized cities I've ever seen in the US!

Where are all the people? Sorry, but I had to say it coming from Houston. But seriously, those are some nice looking, modern apartment/condo buildings Denver has got there.

TexasPlaya, I have to admit I often compose pictures with a lack of people in the foreground!

Another nice thread. I'm a big fan of Denver. It has a very good core and a gorgeous backdrop.

I too am a big fan of Denver. Other than the west coast cities, Denver is probably the only western city that I'd be willing to relocate to. It seems to have a lot of elements that I like.

Thanks for the great photos, geomorph!

Denver streets are busy with pedestrians, auto, bicycle traffic and other goings on. It's a real urban core in every sense of the word. Even the various neighborhoods like Capitol hill, Washington Park, City Park, Congress Park, Cherry Creek, Highlands, Curtis Park, Five Points, etc. have their own vibes and "busy-ness". That's why I love living here. There's always something going on, and yet, it's quite a smallish, manageable city.

Yes I really enjoyed the activity in downtown, especially LoDo.

Capitol Hill was the only neighborhood beyond downtown I was in, and it was very busy!

I was in Denver last year and thought I would add a few projects to this old thread, here is the Westin hotel at Denver International Airport with its light rail A-line station below:

The Denver Botanic Gardens has a fairly recent pavilion called the Science Pyramid which is a striking small addition to its grounds:

Nice updates. I'll have to head over to the Botanic Gardens. I haven't been there in a long time.
