It looks like there's a big open lot a few low-rises away, four pictures up, so I think a building will eventually cover it.

Is that wall blank because that's where the hallways are? I would think hotel-goers would want views even there if that's the case.

It has turned out better than the initial rendering. When I first saw the rendering it looked hideous, but since then there have been some material changes from the look of it.

It's surprisingly mediocre, not horrific. I was worried for a while that this building would go "full Kaufman" and turn out to be an unmitigated disaster, but it's not. In that sense, we turned out with a real winner here.

It looks decent.

Are those light blue walls/windows or coverings?

it is just material, maybe an insulator, which goes in between the cladding and the structure. Once the crane,( or whatever those metals things running up the seides are), is removed, those blue parts will be covered up

^^ His most recent buildings have been good, for Kaufman standards. We should all be happy the zebra cladding was not put!

In fact I think I like the cladding of this one better than the cladding of the similar white skyscraper hotel nearby.

I really LOVE NYC!
Gosh, I went there some months ago and I just can't forget my time at that town!
Every single day I remember the time (and money) that I spend there.
And, for sure, I'll come back.
But 'till it happens, I can dream looking at this amazing picutres here.
Thanks everyone for sharing.
