Price of gas in your city

I always find it fascinating how the gas prices can vary so much from town to town. London tends to be about 8 cents cheaper than Toronto most days, for example. Even Hamilton is usually about 5 cents cheaper than Oakville.

Anyways, in Oakville I paid 131.9 last night.

No idea why Saskatchewan which has a refinery in Regina and is home to quite a few oil fields has a price similar to an island that has to import all of its petroleum products.

We get gas once a week or so, so the prices don't fluctuate much, and since every gas station gets the same gas from the same companys (either Suncor or Can-Op), there is virtually no difference in price. The regular gas stations are all at 139.9 right now, with a couple discount stations below that and a couple full service stations above it.

If you've got a 70L tank, the difference between the most expensive and least expensive is only $20. Considering the reserve gas stations have line-ups down the street (they're all in a row and have about 30 cars waiting at any time) it's not really worth it considering the time it takes to get that gas. People who drive to the US to fuel up their cars will likely burn any savings they get during the 2.5 hour trip.

I'm not sure exactly what it is now, probably in the 1.20-1.40/L range. The closer you get to Costco on the east end of the city the cheaper the gas price.

Calgary is ranging from 116.9 to 123.9.

But, I'm paying 95c/L for the next year. I received the current Ford promotion of 1000 litres at 95c when I bought my new Focus a few weeks back.

it was 122.9 the last time about 2 weeks ago, 2 weeks prior it was 109.9 seems to flucuate anywhere from 108.9 - 126.9 126.9 is very high around here

This is a handy site for anyone who doesn't know about it.

I have found locally in St. John's, price goes to the maximum it can sell for on Thursday morning. It then gradually decreases throughout the week and it at it's lowest on wednesday evening. As another poster stated, it is lowest in the east end closer to Costco who usually sell for 3 cents/liter less than the competition.

$1.31 in Toronto. $4.95 a gallon for US prices, $0.72 cents higher than the most expensive gas in the US.

115 in Edmonton. But will jump up 8C by friday, it ussally does. 129 in McMurray last week and 124-129 in Victoria today.

In Burlington it seems to have hovered in the high 131-cent range lately. I haven't seen the usual variation of a few cents - normally it drops a bit early in the week then goes up Thursdays.

Gotta love Canada's most expesive housing and price of gas.

Fortunately I drive so little and only for pleasure, so price of gas makes no difference to me. That's why I went with a bigger engine in my next car.
