I really love most Austrian cities - Salzburg, Vienna, Graz, Innsbruck are beautiful places with style, great architecture and good vibes. I wish I could say the same about Linz. Linz is one of the ugliest towns I´ve ever been to, you can really feel why even most Upper Austrians try to avoid this place as much as possible and why Hitler planned on spending his dictator retirement in this monstrosity of failed urban development. It is an overrated heaven for village people simulating city life, the undisputed home of Austrian dullness.
Hi Boffo
Even a "monstrosity of failed urban development"!. From the photos I wouldn't say that this city it's so ugly.
It appears to me a very exaggerated negative judgment

Guten Abend.
But why Linz is ugly?
It has some minuses, as well as each city. Not less but not more.
