Overdue for sure. Would be great if they added more food menu options. If not I will always stop in for DQ Blizzards!

The Body Shop's last day at McAllister Place is March 23rd. Signage saying, "Goodbye For Now!", is now up at the store.

The company is undergoing restructuring and will be closing 33 stores across Canada. The location at CF Champlain in Dieppe is also slated for closure. The location inside Regent Mall in Fredericton is remaining open.

DQ for the win!! Now if only they could open a full service DQ in place of the Rothesay Ave restaurant that is badly needing a new East side location. 😱

More building supplies and concrete forms are on-site at East Point for the new construction next to PetSmart, so it should start appearing soon.

Is it confirmed that this is a new corporate office for Northrup?

Apparently a Filipino fast food place is opening in Prince Edward Square, a local take on the Jolibee menu if anyone is familiar.

Can't wait to check it out, the food choices around Union/Waterloo/Prince Edward is really diversifying in the past year or two with several new international grocery and restaurant options.

My wife brought it home tonight. To me it’s not all that but her family love it. I wish Vito’s much success with their latest location.

After 45 years at McAllister Place, Coles announced they are closing on April 6th. Their sister-store Indigo is just up the street at East Point Shopping Center so that may be a reason for the closure. (Restructuring their store count). This now opens up a 2,382sf spot. Hopefully something is lined up for the space.

With Amazon, Indigo etc and the move to both online buying and E Readers I'm amazed they lasted as long as they did.

Is anyone else starting to wonder just how many pet stores one small city can support? They seem to be everywhere.

edit....This sounds like it may be a little different though after reading their FB Page....smaller and a little more boutique-like compared to Global, Petsmart, Pet Value etc etc

Lancaster Mall's leasing plan was updated with some new changes.
  • A new restaurant is coming soon to unit D1 (part of the former Fairweather spot). Will be 3,011sf in size.
  • And now there is a newly reconfigured 13,366sf spot with an exterior entrance at unit D2.

Overall, only a few spots left to be leased. A nice turn around from the nearly empty mall it was before. The redevelopment is what the mall needed.
