That wood work is beautiful and hides a concrete column.
I just hopes nobody slips and falls into that pile of concrete artwork - that's looks
like an accident waiting to happen.

E-scooters be aware of slippery slopes, weight limitations and all around clumsiness when approaching a high rate of speed.

Grady or WellStar will be close by if you happen to land in the rock pile.

That building will be a fantastic addition to that area. Love that they’re including office and retail space, too.

That aerial is out of date because the Office project on the far right is actually topped out already

Yes it's old (leaves still green/on the trees), but in a lot of ways smArTaLlone keeps this forum running. I still appreciate the picture.

Do you have a link to the permit application? I can't seem to locate it.

Thanks!

Hard to say for sure because there is still some equipment staging from Airline condos, but I think the answer is "yes" because there are 6' sewer pipes on site (which wouldn't be for Airline) and there looks to be some freshly disturbed soil. So I'm guessing they've begun infrastructure or site work at least.

Actually no, all that work is still associated with the townhouses. The larger project should break ground Q1 2020.

I don't think it is quite topped out yet. I saw columns going up on the east side (right in the pic) of the building yesterday. I don't know if there is another floor though.

The office portion along Howell Mill has topped out. The portion you're referring to is the hotel section (which will be called The Bellyard), which will be along 14th. It has not topped out yet. When complete, it will rise about 1-2 floors higher than the office portion. The reason the main developer celebrated "topping out" last week is because the hotel is being developed by a separate firm. Therefore, the work for the main developer is topped out.

In this picture, you can see the hotel section in the foreground, with the office portion that is topped out in the background:
