Quebec Railroads & Montreal, 1880s (Questions)

Hey guys, I'm just doing a little research for a writing project (multi-volume novel by the looks of it. ō_ō) here and I just have some questions about a bygone era.

So far, what I have is an adolescent runaway girl who goes on a train (Grand Trunk Railroad, it looks like) towards Toronto. The question is then, if she gets on at a railroad station legitimately (she sells her trinkets enough for a ticket), which railroad station would this be, and where is it? A couple pictures won't hurt.

Secondly, if she's from the working class areas, which areas would this be? I take it is not Westmount. Some streets that resemble the built up environment of that time would be nice so that I can look them up on Google Maps if possible.

Yeah, beyond that, I'll see if I have any more questions. This is a good start.

(95% sure... someone else might want to confirm.)

See its location (Bonaventure Station) in D6 on that 1890s map:

Totally depends or whether your girl is French-speaking or English-speaking. If the story continues in Toronto I guess she's Anglo. Do you want her to be Irish? That would fit well.

The community is mixed. She's Franco but has Irish people visiting her house.

There were dozens, if not hundreds of train stations in Montreal in the late 19th century, with many having connections to Toronto.

your question is not answerable with the information you give us.

^Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and St. Henri if more french than Irish, Griffintown and Pointe St. Charles if vice versa.
