Saw it beginning to light up from my English class. Seems like the cooling towers are lit.

EDIT: I tried to resize the photo from my iPhone and it didn't really work that well. I'll post a better (and darker) picture when I get back to my dorm.

First time I remember the Spine being lit up. Figured I would share my view.

Saw it from Delco tonight. It looks fantastic. It should be lit like this every night.

I’ll take bright white over dim colors 8 days a week. I’m ashamed of our skyline at night. Looks like the city is tucked into bed.

I really don't get why the Comcast towers didn't go with a colored lighting scheme like the rest of the skyline. It really would have made Philly uniquely cool (not that the existing lights aren't - despite the dimness of the Liberty towers).

I agree. I think colored lights would look cool!

Perhaps it's still being tested? Why does everyone always assume the worst, this building isn't finished yet.

Well Comcast 1 doesn't have colored lights and there has been no indication that CTC has them either, I'm pretty sure I've seen it mentioned on here that Comcast purposefully didn't include them - so it wasn't an oversight.

Comcast Center used to have a bar of colored lights at the very top, but they are replaced with what's up there now

I remember when they posted light renders of CC1 and it showed the corners, eye and crown in full colors. Then they ended up with a bar at the top.

There was a post a long time ago that the lights in CC were being changed out or reviewed soon and that colored lights were at least on the table, though far from a certainty.

CTC does not have any colored lights, which IMO is a shame (unless they’d be dim like the rest of them, in which case I’ll take the white).

I don't mind color lighted for either CC or CTC, to show support for sports or cancer or whatnot. But on most occasion, as is, is fine too. Here's what I mean:

I will get around to daytime shots soon I hope.

Oh all white is fine too - looks very classy - but it needs to be 1) BRIGHT... F'n BRIGHT and 2) warm - like 3,000K. I dislike how CC1's 'crown' is >=5,000K. I get why, but they failed at the effect they were going for and instead it looks like a whole separate added-on piece.

From the photos shown, the transition between the warm light on the body of the buildinlg and the cool light of the lantern tip looks pretty smooth - way smoother than I expected - but I'll need to see it from the west in person first.
