4. La Defense (I believe)
5. It's in Chicago and I believe it's a city/county building, but someone on here will know.

Kind of small, but here goes. Click on the building names to see them at Emporis.com.

1 - Oriental Pearl TV Tower - Shanghai, China
2 - Chrysler Building - New York, USA
3 - Petronas Towers - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
4 - La Grande Arche - Puteaux, France, located in La Defense which is a commercial distrct that actually spans several towns. It's well known as being in Paris, though, geographically it isn't.
5 - Smurfit-Stone Building - Chicago, USA
6 - New York Stock Exchange - New York, USA
7 - Taipei 101 - Taipei, Taiwan
8 - 30 St. Mary Axe - London, England
9 - Transamerica Pyramid - San Francisco, USA
10 - Yokohama Landmark Tower - Yokohama, Japan

Thank you all very much.

(from the e-mail I got today):
We would also like to involve everyone in these events. So please take a few moments to have a look at the competition below, as you could be the lucky winner of 2 return flights to either New York or London or Hong Kong. (A small hint - if you search hard enough on FT.com, you might be able to find the answers!)

I hope I win.
