CHICAGO - A Second City Christmas

Merry Christmas, SSP.

I've got 54 shots from Chicago from about Black Friday-ish to Christmas Eve, last night.

This is mostly the Loop, Millennium Park and the Magnificent Mile. Lakeview, Logan Square, Uptown/Andersonville and Pilsen are among other neighborhoods making appearances here.

Chicago is such a wonderful city. My sister lived there from 1977 to 1982. For much of that time she lived on Fullerton near Clark...which meant I had free lodging in a FANTASTIC location. I really miss it...and I still haven't forgiven her for moving back to Texas.

Agreed. The warm weather is amazing (shorts and a t-shirt on Christmas in Chicago?!?!?!), but I'm waiting for the actual winter shoe to drop.

About three layers of window reflections and some sort of light fixture or other decorative thingamajig. Taken from sidewalk in the block or two west of the Water Tower on Pearson Street. May have been the Bentley dealership.

Have to admit, I was going through there thinking of what the scene was like there 60 years ago.
