I love that Southcore/Harbourfront has gained so much height and density but I hate that all the colours looks so similar and faded out in the daylight. I wish there was some variation and contrast.

So to tie a bow on this top down construction issue at the one - what is being built is the same thing they did at PJ Condos in the Entertainment District

I don't think I expect any colour variation with any of the major new builds, even The hub 290 meters and CIBC Plaza 238/243 meters are expected to follow the formula.

From some angles Stantec looks like the tallest building in Edmonton

hahahaha.

Not gonna lie, I had some doubts about Stantec when the rendering came out but its turning out to be a solid looking tower. Nothing spectacular, it's super safe, but I think its a respectable looking building that looks good in Edmonton's downtown.

It's so dominate. Love the rounded corners.

Those three look fantastic together and compliment each other!
---

A few more angles of the tower now taler taller than The Bow and in August slightly taller than BP.

yea its a looker - but it's odd to see it sit 90% empty. You can literally see right through the building with all the unoccupied floors.

The top 8 floors look built out. (To go with the 5 floors in the lower third of the tower)

It will get worse soon, when Canada House begins construction (231 and 202 metres), and 160 Front (240 metres), and possibly the One Yonge supertall and its sibling (307 and 263 metres). Any other 200 metre tall towers on the horizon?

True, way back at the beginning of the boom we would get excited over a 40 story building.

Truly. The graceful form saves it from seemingly low-grade materials I feared would ruin it.
