Suspicious death confirmed as Edmonton's first homicide. We had 11 at this time last year.

Second homicide, man shot, found on the side of the road in HRM
apparently this guy was a major coke dealer in the area:

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-s...yle-death.html

And according to a map in the story above it shows ten shootings in HRM so far this year .

I like Halifax, I think the city is beautiful. But I never really felt safe there, walking around after dark, and especially at some of the bars (I was coaxed in to visiting the Dome. Never again....the toothy moose, however, was wonderful). The most terrifying experience of my life was missing my exit on the highway in to Halifax and ending up in the middle of Dartmouth after dark. I refused to pull over and check my GPS, just kept driving until I found the bridge.

There's only been 1 murder in Windsor over the past 30 months.

Detroit is at 44 for the year.

I can't tell if you're kidding or not. If you're being serious you really need to travel more. Try missing your exit a 3 am for the Lincoln Tunnel and ending up in one of the highest crimes centres in N.A. Now that was scary. I had a police escort me back onto the highway, and he had me follow him through 3 red lights.

2nd for Ottawa after triple shooting. The other 2 victims are listed stable so probably will stay at 2.
