Green Light, Red Light

What if you could green light a project just by waving a magic wand and have an entire district built instantly, while freezing all construction, development and planning activities in other districts.

Which district would you green light for completion within the next 5 years? Which district do you think would most benefit Atlanta? The districts includes all under construction projects and planned projects including parks, transit, etc.

Remember: Amazon should not have an impact on your decision since it may or may not happen.

Think long and hard before voting. because this SimCity exercise has real consequences.

Please, please post pics and expound on why you chose a specific district.

So then the MMPT would be included in South Downtown?

Also would capping the connector (with a park, not just the Stitch) be included in North Downtown/Midtown?

1. Aerotropolis

2. South Downtown

3. Turner Field Redevelopment

I'm on my phone now. I'll explain why and post pictures later.

The MMPT would be included because it's located in South Downtown, but capping the connector would be included in South Midtown/SoNo districts.

Keep in mind that old, out-dated projects can help sway your decision even if they're not likely to happen.

Well, the forum has spoken: It looks like downtown is the clear choice for new development with 77% of the vote.

Let's hope it happens this cycle and not the next.
