IMO, the SWFC resembles a trophy. The Pudong skyline looks like a (ever growing) trophy case with so many signature towers.

^ I think they could do without at least one of those intersections next to SWFC on the lower left portion of the pic.

I know what you mean. I realize that those are large blocks, but still, it seems like it would be impossible to get anywhere with that many intersections so close together.

The model severely exaggerates the scale on Century Avenue (the major road beside SWFC). Those intersections do exist, but they aren't as close together as the model makes them seem to be.

I've been thinking about that too...but actually, I think those footprints are a little exaggerated. i mean, I don't think the blocks are that large.

I decided to take a few photos today but decided to choose a perspective that's little seen (or so it seems) on the forum. I think it gives some perspective of the current progress on the core and it's relation to the rest of Lujiazui.

^ I know. When I was there about 6 years ago Jin Mao stood well above everything around it (other than the Pearl Tower). Now SWFC towers over it and this will tower over SWFC. It's hard for me to imagine.

Great pics, phoenixboi!

How do you always manage to get such clear photos?
Mine always have so much grain from the dust/perma-smog
