Looking at Earthcam this morning I see four large bundles of steel at the base of the tower. One is quite large, possibly perimeter steel. Not sure how to post screenshots from an iPhone yet... Go to Earthcam and check out the tower 1 base cam.

Everyone! 1WTC does have something to represent the NY Giants!
1WTC is a Giant! AND The Blue Netting at the top of the Tower represents the color of the NY GIANTS! OH YES! WE ARE BACK!

Just in time! I just saw the new WTC on SKYFOXHD and the whole parade is streaming live! You can see 1WTC in the background! New steel as I post this!
