Ya'll let me down!!! I forgot to stop and get update pics of Vesta! I'm gonna try to do it tomorrow after work, maybe during lunch.

I can say that as I took the Expressway south toward Homewood for breakfast at Jack's this morning, Vesta was OBVIOUS. It is now impossible to miss from the Expressway whether you're heading north or south.

Drove by it yesterday after coming back from Nashville. Definitely a thing of beauty.

Drove the Expressway through The Cut today. Vesta is a bit above its neighbor, Temple Beth-El.

Vesta isn't even half its designed height, yet! I can't wait to be able to see it from my workplace in the Central City.

It is right next to Temple Beth-El which is 2179 Highland Avenue, 35205.
The nearest cross street is 21st Way S.

Google street view still shows it as a couple of empty lots with silt barriers.

Thanks for the links skycaptain! Doesn't look like they've made much progress over the past two weeks. I'm sure the Spring weather has made it difficult for them to maintain a consistent work schedule.

Vesta still has about 9? more floors to add, so I'm looking forward to the progress!

Also, given the size of the Vesta project, I'm excited to see numbers the Census shows in 2020.

BTW, STILLLLLLL waiting on news on if the "The Break" will be torn down and a residential tower built in its place!!!!!!!!!!!! We have gone too long without updates, and it is frustrating me!!!!!!
