Actually, I think Flickr makes it quite easy. They actually have a feature that copies the information in BBCode for you.

When viewing the photo in Flickr, click the share button and select the option for "BBCode" - there is a drop down to select size of photo.

Copy and paste the code into you box here, and presto!

I didn't realize it was so close to downtown, or that it was going to have a PATCO stop. That's awesome, especially by having PATCO commuters without cars who will meander out in the city for lunch. Whatever the case, even if it were in the 'burbs, it's definitely good to have Subaru in the region, even if it's in NJ.

I hope this looks better in reality than in the drawing. The color of the facade sucks.

Anyone know if the ground floor facade of the Lit Bros building is the original? I think it is. Actually, not a huge fan...though I love he rest of the building.

Other than the obviously '80s canopies that mark the entrances the ground floor facade is the original. Classic department store architecture: gigantic display windows.

It does have a unique looking texture. My guess is that the rendering is not able to properly show it correctly.

Why does it also look like this building's corner comes to a point with an angle less than 90 degrees? Is it a visual trick to make the building look less boxy or something?

I think that's just an illusion because of the upward-looking perspective used in the rendering. Also, the fact that one of the facades is further from the street than the other facade, so that the building corner does not align with the street corner, may further contribute to the impression that the building's corner is not 90 degrees. And finally, the use of several windows that wrap around the building's corner might also cause some misperception of that corner's angle. But I'm pretty sure it's a 90 degree angle (as the facades apparently are parallel to 33rd and Chestnut Streets).

If I'm not mistaken, the James E. Marks building is coming down for the Study, right? Looking at it on Googlemaps....ugh. With that front lawn on Chestnut, it looks right at home in the suburbs. And ugly, too! Is the Study going to take out the adjacent parking lot, too? https://goo.gl/maps/TBJ9E

And the two Drexel buildings on the eastern corner of Chestnut look new-ish. Add in Penn's new building currently under construction (College House?) and that entire corner will have undergone quite the makeover.

The Marks building has already come down--The Study is now fully under construction (excavation and foundation work).

And Penn's new College House won't come completely to the corner, which will be landscaped as a new campus gateway:

And you're right: quite a makeover for that entire intersection.

this is by Eero Saarinen son of Eliel. If you look at it for a little while it can become mesmerizing. It is a great piece of modernism executed in rich brick masonry. I think the Drexel building is a less inspired knockoff.

Great updates. Just a couple notes on the EPassyunk stuff. KoJ rendering isn't accurate although hopefully close; that's the previous incarnation with the first developer. Not houses at 12th and Morris, but a restaurant with three or four apartments above.
