Remind me how Canadians often pronounce 'Gloucester' and 'Worcester' 'Worcestershire' (as in the sauce) and then we can talk.

It's all just swings and roundabouts.

Yeah, I am pretty stoked to first spend 5 days in Iceland and then 5 days in Greenland. Especially the latter is a pretty unique destination and so damn expensive (they both are).

The nice thing is that we will be there on midsummer and being above the arctic circle, we will get to experience the nightless nights too. Photos to follow.

9C and rainy this afternoon. It was actually warmer this morning (10C) before the rain started. Overall, another crappy spring day.

The skies were threatening rain all day on Wednesday in Vancouver but I managed to make it through without having to use my umbrella. The high at Vancouver Harbour was 13 C, the low was 9 C.

Rain and possible severe thunderstorms again today, there's even a risk of tornadoes, high of 21C and a low of 7C. Yesterday got up to a very nice 24C!

10C and overcast. This awful spring continues... Can't even enjoy playoff hockey to the fullest.

I wonder if Vancouver's on track to see its cloudiest-ever-recorded April after the cloudiest-ever-recorded March? The current EC forecast shows some hours of sun tomorrow followed by rain for the rest of the week.

Probably won't be far off, although the last week has been more normal. A lot of days this past week have been like today, a bit of rain and cloud in the morning followed by 6 or 7 hours of sun. A mix of sun, cloud and the odd shower is fine by me (most of the days in EC's forecast will likely be like that. If they put a day with a chance of showers, and sun they use the rain icon for some reason- today for example).

It turned out to be a nice day in Vancouver so I walked home over the Cambie Bridge. The high at Vancouver Harbour was 14 C, the low was 8 C.

Silver thaw this morning - took a few pictures walking to Coleman's Grocery along the border between Rabbittown and Pennywell.

Spring is simply not coming.

There's still freezing rain and fog. This is now the second day. From a buddy up in the suburbs:

Luckily, it's a little too warm downtown - but you can see all the ice on the hills:

Cool but very sunny here today, high of 12C with a low of 2C. Crabapple trees are now in full bloom along with so many other trees. Such a beautiful time of year!

Holy crap. It's still piling up at higher elevations. Half tempted to go outside Empire Avenue to see it but it's not a happy enjoyable thing to see in late April lol
