Today has been cooler than yesterday. Warm but not hot. I can fall back to what is really comfortable for me, wearing a light coat and such. Not much of a breeze at all though so the coat didn't protect me from the breeze much. Wind is especially aggravating for me.

From the Vancouver Sun today:

"Warning issued as heat wave to hit Metro Vancouver

It looks like Metro Vancouver is in for its first real heat wave of the summer."

http://vancouversun.com/news/local-n...etro-vancouver

*************

I was out and about in the sun all afternoon today around downtown Vancouver and the False Creek seawall and it was not hot. Warm certainly, but the brisk ocean breeze was keeping things pleasant. I'm sure it was and will be hotter further inland and away from the water.

A bit fresh out at lunch but was awesome for me, given that is what I prefer.

Liked the cooler breeze today. but after sweltering the last 6 days in Indianapolis and Cincinnati it felt a whole lot colder.

looking forward to a summery weekend in Banff for a long bike ride.

How about frost warnings tonight for areas just to the north of Calgary, barely past mid-August. Nuts.

I was pounding the pavement today away from the water so it felt hot, at least by Vancouver standards. The coolish evenings are most welcome. Seems like we're locked into this for a while, which is fine by me.

The trees are turning in Vancouver already, so 60s postcard like.

Today was borderline comfortable in Vanc..

I saw some numbers for various parts of Alberta this morning (I was on EC's site, out of curiosity). Three words: "Not unlike Alaska."

Will leave it at that

Still cool but pleasing. You can feel September lurking in the shadows.

Okay, this is about as hot as it gets in downtown Vancouver unless it's a really extreme event. Not used to this. The fresh breezes were scarce today where I was but at least the humidity is low. I'm already looking forward to our next cool, cloudy day.

This is the exception. You can post the measurements you take yourself.

Or better yet just do an image search with the temperature you want and post it. Uh oh! You guys gonna verify every pic?
