The smoke form the locomotives moving cars around is crazy.. would suck to have a condo right by the tracks.

That's where the new Whitecaps stadium was proposed.
Would have been really noisy, don't know if you have ever been to Safeco in Seattle, but the train noise can get pretty bad.

Amazing photos as usual, do you use a tripod on these shots?

Can't remember exactly about the Christmas Market photos, but surely with the other ones.

I did do some Christmas lights photo shooting yesterday, but unfortunately will take me after the holidays to get to those. That house with 100 000 lights in North Vancouver is crazy.

Few photos of the temporary art installation called Unnumbered Sparks at TED 2014. You don't see the lines that well with naked eye and overall it looks quite interesting. At least it lured lots of people to take photos of it.

Better go after dark and better go fast. They will be bringing it down this weekend (already on Saturday?).

Thinking about it it looks to me better than the LED ring that has been suggested over the VAG square.

I would rather have the ring without wires: more solid-looking.

First time ever I have seen a NT license plate in Vancouver. I like how different it looks.

Vancouver's newest parade is Halloween Parade that combines Halloween with cosplay.

Agreed, but would love to see it lively year round, and not just concentrating around Robson and Granville.

Here are few photos from last Sunday's annual Sun Run event.

Downtown streets get flooded with runners and spectators alike.

There are all sorts of people and creatures running.

Crowds at the goal line.

After the event people are guided inside BC Place for drinks and some music.

Sun Run is a nice annual event in Vancouver and always a pleasure to witness when the weather is nice.

Few weeks ago a nice weather provided for a fun walk around Downtown.

Cruise season is finally back after a two-year hiatus.

It was surprisingly quiet on the Seawall.

Sun was out in English Bay.

Vancouver's latest "attraction" is a runaway barge that washed on shore back in November and got stuck there.

City is currently paying a hefty sum for 24/7 security to keep people and vandals away.

Attempts to pull the barge failed and now the plan is to demolish the barge on the spot.

Nice summer weather in Yaletown.

It's a long walk around Downtown, but in a great weather definitely worth the effort.
