2/3/11: Spice.

I whipped up some dinner tonight. I must say, it was delicious.

I also got a 430 EX II today, so I've been having fun with that as well.

I subscribe to the theory of know your subject matter. Sure some things are blind luck, but I get better stuff out of things I really know. Knowing what time and what sky conditions really bring out things.

I never thought of that. I shall think more.

2/4/11: 10-22.

The only thing I could think of today was...10-22.

For someone with no money, you're giving me a lot of gear-envy.

I'm still only shooting with two lenses. Tokina 12-24mm; and Nikon 50mm F/1.4.

Well, I HAD money, then I blew it.

I LOVE the ultra wide angle. I'd get that 12-24 ASAP!

I'll second that! Great stuff here Derek. It's cool to see your progression.

2/5/11: Apollo.

Just played around some more with my new 430 EX II Speedlite. It's fun. Also, these little Asian chocolate delicacies are amazing. Yes.

2/6/11: Meh.

I worked 2:30-11 today, so this is really all I've got for today. I snapped this down in the parking garage after my shift. I know I just had a picture of my truck a few days ago. I'm sorry.

I'll have more diversity this week!

2/7/11: DTSD.

So I got my 70-200 f/4L today, so naturally I had to test it out!

I absolutely love it! I know this picture is slightly over exposed and the boat is blurry because it was moving in the water, but I don't care. I like all the lights from the planes.

i like that last one there. i would suggest cropping it a little on the right where that little piece of boat is sticking out. but i like it slightly over exposed.

I'm not into the whole editing thing yet, but I'll get there.

Anyways, I've been slacking big time! Well not slacking, but I've been busy! But, these pictures were all taken on the correct dates, and that's all that matters.

2/8/11: Luke.

So I shot my buddy Luke's Eagle Court of Honor today. It was definitely a fun learning experience. Congratulations Luke!

I've been really busy lately so I haven't really been able to go shoot. Enjoy my cat's gross mouth.

So I promised better material but I didn't deliver. My schedule has been HECTIC. I'll have some good stuff soon enough. At least she's cute.
