Montreal has the most eclectic group of old people in Canada....maybe North America.

Everything was great, John.

Brilliant shots! Thanks for sharing, mr.John.

I specially like your people shots. Summer arrived to Montreal, that is a very good new to observe people enjoying the pleasant weather.

Congrats and greetings from Madrid, Spain.

Painfully good. Wicked photos. Wicked city. Greatest place in Canada during the summer months, bar none.

Awesome pics Mr. John! .Montreal does urbanity well .Due for a Montreal trip..Lots coming up there..Glad it's so close...I wish I was a good photographer, but something tells me that try as I may, Ottawa would just come out squeaky clean in the pics anyways.ha

Canada's freak show for sure

Why does every Montreal photothread depict the oddest characters doing the oddest things? Is it that photographers focus in on them, or are the streets just full of quirky types?

Great pics btw. I thoroughly enjoyed your thread

Montreal does have a lots of quirkiness but this photographers likes to focus on it particularly.

he slammed into a SUV with his bike, nothing too serious

Part 2 featuring a update on some of the murals I posted in part 1 (part of mural fest on the main) Argentinians celebrating their victory over mighty Iran and lastly the annual drag race which is part of the fringe festival (a smorgasbord of really bad shows and performers)

Fantastic shots!!
Yeah that last group of photos has some strange looking characters...but this is Montreal after all. Great city to visit in the summer (or anytime except the coldest part of winter)!
I love the telephoto pics of people; I wish I could pull off shots like that.
Outdoor shots in bright sunlight are always difficult for me. Yours are so clear and bang on in focus!!

That picture of the brunette and blonde laughing...the brunette looks just like Angie Harmon. I love the facial expression on the girl 4 pictures later (with the hat and drink).
