Developer breaks ground on 17-story hotel tower and Elysian apartments next to Palms

Of course they have to ruin any kind of vertical development with a typical crap Vegas strip mall in front of it

Steve Wynn buying fomer Alon Site for $336M

Another Article About Wynn Resort buying the Alon site (Previously the New Frontier Hotel):

https://www.reviewjournal.com/busine...336m-purchase/

This is going to be very exciting. I can't wait to find out what Steve Wynn will do to transform that location. It may take a few years before a plan is revealed since he is busy with the Paradise Park project and Wynn Boston project now, but I am sure that whatever idea he has for the Alon site will be nothing short of Spectacular!!!

1 + 7 = 8, the favorite number of the Chinese. The Alon proposed towers, never to be built, had the same numerology, top floors equally 8. And there's that 88 story tower being proposed in downtown L.A.!

Click on that "vitalvegas.com" link for more details. Doesn't say anything about the construction itself, but some more details on what the experience will be like!

^^ Wow they are moving quickly. Probably one of the smartest relocations in NFL history.
While the Chargers moving to LA is probably one of the dumbest.

Caesars closer to building new convention center near Las Vegas Strip

By Richard N. Velotta
June 6 2018 Las Vegas Review-Journal

Caesars Entertainment Corp. moved another step closer to building its new convention center.

The Clark County Commission on Wednesday unanimously approved plans for the $375 million Caesars Forum Meeting Center to be built just east of the High Roller observation wheel on land currently used as a surface parking lot.

The company previously announced that it would break ground on the project later this month and is planning a 2020 completion.
