This is going to be very exciting. I can't wait to find out what Steve Wynn will do to transform that location. It may take a few years before a plan is revealed since he is busy with the Paradise Park project and Wynn Boston project now, but I am sure that whatever idea he has for the Alon site will be nothing short of Spectacular!!!

Of course they have to ruin any kind of vertical development with a typical crap Vegas strip mall in front of it
1 + 7 = 8, the favorite number of the Chinese. The Alon proposed towers, never to be built, had the same numerology, top floors equally 8. And there's that 88 story tower being proposed in downtown L.A.!

Caesars closer to building new convention center near Las Vegas Strip

Caesars Entertainment Corp. moved another step closer to building its new convention center.
The Clark County Commission on Wednesday unanimously approved plans for the $375 million Caesars Forum Meeting Center to be built just east of the High Roller observation wheel on land currently used as a surface parking lot.
The company previously announced that it would break ground on the project later this month and is planning a 2020 completion.
