I'm confused. How come there are no Ducks fans in Anaheim at this game.

I don't think I've ever seen a team suck so bad in the third period. And as a Flames fan, that means the Ducks REALLY sucked.

Hope we can get one past Rinne tonight. He has a 2 game shutout streak going against us.

I missed the beginning of Hrudy's rant there. Does anyone know who was he talking about?

What a shot by Pacioretty for the OT winner... against Pekka Rinne as well. This dude is incredibly clutch!!!

Great setup by Subban who is currently playing much better.

Gainey has made some horrible trades *cough* Gomez *cough* but the Craig Rivet one keeps getting better and better for us.

Rivet (he's in the ECHL right now)

for

Gorges (best D-men on this team with 8 pts and +9)
1st round pick in 2007 (Pacs who leads the team with 7 goals all on ES)

Budaj was surprisingly solid... I was expecting worse.

Mmm. Painful irony that is.

No doubt he is a truly elite level of talent. Marchand is pretty good, too

This has been such a weird season so far... usually we're a PP team and our 5 on 5 play sucks!!!

This year, it is exactly the opposite. Our PP is the worse I can remember(27th in the NHL)... we've given up as much SH goals as we have scored 5 on 4 ones (4).

On the other hand, this is the best I've seen the team play 5 on 5 (4th in the league). The fact we have added size up front definately helps.

So the key to success is to decline all the power plays, we don't want them... until Markov comes back.

Glad I haven't been following this season. It sounds atrocious.

It was great to see Nicky Figs come back and score 2 on Toronto after that aweful stick to the face. I don't think it was intentional, but that was a perfect example of a player not being aware and in control of his stick. I would like to take this time to give a shout out to TSN who picked the Sens to be dead last this year. Our young kids are proving a lot of the critics wrong this year and making for some exciting hockey. Go Sens!

- Me muttering to myself curled up in a ball Saturday night.

But really that was a one goal game that they lost 5-2.. The 2 empty net goals really distort how the game actually was.

That being said DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE DAMN SPECIAL TEAMS!!!

Long road trip for Oil = wheels fall off.

I expect them to rebound now that they're home sweet home.

Yeah, playing the last two Stanley Cup champions and a Red Wings team, all who are red hot, doesn't make for an easy 3 road games.

But with the Oilers now once again getting the last line change at home, Hall-Eberle-RNH won't be playing against the opponents' shutdown guys all night.

If the Oilers stink it up for the next few games at home, then I'll get upset about it.

Kinda surprised Nicko hasn't weighed in on the Lucic hit yet. That was one of the dirtiest plays I've seen in a long time. I figure 2-5 games minimum, even though it should be a lot more.
