I got the chance to briefly visit Warsaw a week or so ago and i was really impressed. I'll post some pics as soon as i have some more spare time.

this illumination is even more disgusting than the new paint.
Now it looks like a cheap brothel. Very sad.

maybe the photos are not that good, but I've seen it live and I must tell You that the palace after renovation looks excellent

BTW these are original colours of the palace

I'm coming to Poland in early 2007 -- probably January. I know you guys are planning something sooner but would you be up for something then as well?

A huge Euro meet, held in Poland, would be fucking dope, too.

Yesterday was officially announced, that in the place where there is 'Russiana market' (stadion X-lecia), new National Stadium will be constructed (for 60.000 people).

There are also plans to build new arena, olympic swimming pool, congres center.

some news about Warsaw Central Train station:

there are two possibilities:

- first : total modernization of the train station
(here are first renderings, how it may look like) :




- second : destroy the train station and redevelope this area (on the plan for the Warsaw city center, You can see two proposed towers in the place where there is Central train station - nr 6 )
