Man I miss Chicago, awesome photos man. Oh and Disko, that picture was taken from a railroad bridge that goes over 45. You have to park behind an abandoned warehouse off a tiny dead end street called Glaser Drive.

Ahhh, the Commercial. I used to drink in there quite a bit backwhen I lived just off the Ave. Fantastic live blues in there every night.

Tis an old d70nikon converted to an infrared camera George, the filter they put in retains a small bit of colour like light browns, blues, yellows but the greens are total white.I havent touched the W.B setting otherwise I would get the mostly "red" infrared image.
Here is a s.o.o.c shot...

Editing is auto levels, swapping red and blue channels and then usual ajustments.
Cost me 225sterling for the conversion and sensor cleaning, was recieved converted and posted in a few hours.

Thanks for the details. The infrared conversion produces a very unique effect.
I can't say I've ever seen anything like it.
