Is it just me, or does this project acreage appear to be absolutely vast compared to others? Maybe it seems larger to me as there isn't much to compare it to nearby.

Someone said it's the site of a former landfill, but closed at least 40 years. By law they have to rest for awhile.

The Office downtown on Piedmont

Anybody know what's going on with this building? I loved how just a little love on the exterior really makes it *pop*, love the definition and texture now, but....

I had a weird angle on it a few mornings ago and noticed all the corner units I could see were empty: looking at the north-east corner you could see all the way through and there was *nothing* in them.

They're apartments, right? Maybe those units were more expensive? Because the view over Midtown and up to Buckhead would probably be amazing

I would just like to thank the OP for making such a great rundown of all the projects currently happening in the city. Although I no longer live in the Atlanta metro, I'm always interested to see the progress and growth happening. Keep up the good work!

Its a small street to begin with. The addition of urban buildings only makes it more obvious.

I was thinking the same thing! That building is going to be 95% parking garage! I can't even see how there's room to mask it with a thin layer of apartments...

This will be one of the most underrated projects in the city when it's all said and done. Brick and Limestone...the materials especially at street level just look great and timeless. I wish more apartment projects use these type of materials.

From this perspective next to the adjacent building it looks like the space between the deck and the sidewalk is almost half the width of that tower. I know it looks tight but there is plenty of room for the apartments.

I think he's talking about the apartments that will face north. In the previous photo, it does look like there's no room for apartments.

Regardless, the deck is wrapped with apartments on both sides whether you can see the street or not
