This view is going to look great once this building tops out.

That photo reminds me of Metrotown ~10 years ago (maybe a bit more?). This is good, given the pace of proposals and developments in Surrey at this stage.

Definitely the best angle of Surrey City Centre right now. This view will continue to fill in quite a bit over the next 5 years alone. Nice to see a potential new tallest could be joining this view too if the 50-storey tower unveiled today is indeed taller than 3 Civic Plaza.

They're putting up floor 24 of the residential part now so I believe it is officially the tallest tower in Surrey now only to continue growing (another 12 I believe floors to go correct?)

Just updated the elevation drawing. 12 residential floors to go + 2 'sky townhouse' levels, and then a double height mechanical.

New level being added today:

With 16 levels to go, and current pace of 3 levels per month. Looks like we wont see this topped out until late February / early March.

Thanks for the update, Shift. Basically we are doubling the height that exists from the roof of the Hotel to the current height, which means it will reach as tall as the webcam image and possibly surpass it margnally. Definitely will have a supertall look compared to the existing low density houses surrounding the core.

^ That's not a webcam image, that was taken with my phone. Correct it will likely not fit in that frame when topped out.

On another note, the fence screening has finally come down along City Parkway and the retail units are beginning to take shape. Some more pics from today:

Thanks!
That canopy will also provide some shelter for patios, too.

Yeah it should be a nice covered pedestrian space when complete. The planning report mentions that they intend to green up the SkyTrain pillars with vines which should be nice.

Pretty soon it'll be undeniably the tallest in the last photo.
