Magley is also the president of Basketball Super League, which is formed of St-John's, Montreal, Sudbury, London, Kitchener, and Windsor, with 15 teams (some of the TBL) joining them next year.
In an interview with Acadie Nouvelle, he stated that he hoped for an European system where the best team of the TBL would join the BSL, and the worst of the TBL would transfer to the SBL.
