The Guardian's report adds Kingdom Tower's developers will not be too perturbed by how long the tower takes to "fill up".

Well of course as this tower is really for pride. Given the ideal location, companies would love to snatch up this prime class-A space and luxurious living units with paramount access to a 24/7 hub.
Thier idea of luring companies is a mirage. Same things you see in the desert. A hallucination of false reality.
Pride or not, its still impressive considering the engineering involved. If this went up in Shanghai, its all good, but its secluded and in an area where it really can't shine. A good tower in theory, but the location is horrid.
The master plan depicts a city in the desert, but do the economics add up?
