It looks like the Concord Eastridge site is being updated rather frequently. They have recent arial shots of the property.

Damn that's a huge plot of land...all former dirt lots, right? Good stuff right there!

For some reason I hadn't realized that this is directly north of Alta Phoenix, bordered by the same streets on the east and west. Would be cool to see those dirt lots between them continue to fill in and also the ones to the east.

The lots to the east of the project are part of the biomedical campus area, which as far as I'm concerned is a landbanking debacle on the part of the city. Gobbling up block after block and attaching loosely programmed building massings without any idea of what those buildings are, let alone the money to build them was a mistake. I think we will all be gray or dead by the time those lots fill up.

I drove by the site just now and was surprised to see some overhead utility lines still existing along Roosevelt. I would have hoped they ere going to bury those. Overall it was great to see the progress. That is one of the most gnarly empty lots in the city finally filling up.

FAA permit shows the tallest building in this project will be 93' and they will be using a 250' crane.

So at 93' will this be just a little taller than the 7 story Alta Lofts?

That crane is there now and I was kind of hoping it was there to assemble a real crane.

I drove by there this evening and it looks like they've installed the base of a tower crane. Will try to get some pics later. Too dark this evening.

Sadly the power lines won't be going away any time soon...or even when the Roosevelt Rd streetscape is redone from Central to 4th St in 2014.

This is moving very quick and it's crazy how big the whole project is, you really don't get a sense of it until you see it in person.
