The core is definitely getting pretty high and I dont see how the will be able to get much higher with mobile cranes.

I really hope the two parking garages on the block immediately north of CITC get some kind of redevelopment even if they maintain some parking element. You have the one mid-block you can see in the bird's eye view posted by Mike Nigh which goes all the way through, then you also have one on the NW corner. As it stands, the block is currently about half parking garage. Particularly when you think about the street frontage along Arch street across from CITC, there's almost nothing going on. Au Bon Pain in 3(?) Logan Square only has an entrance on 18th. Then after that, I'm pretty sure all you have is the convenience store and rest in the old building on the SW corner of the block. Even if those garages could reconfigure in order to have retail on the ground floor without doing anything else, at least it wouldn't be so much of a contrast between the tallest building in the city and basically a dead block.

But one of those garage's offers a nice little spot for taking pics of CITC ..(I kid, ..I agree).

Also I like how CITC is starting to appear between buildings from street level a block or so away.

TallCoolOne, Love this shot you took showing the ideal urban density. If we could multiple this out in a 5 miles radius...
