What's the last 'likeable' leader the Conservatives had? Heck, what was the last likeable Ontario PC leader we had? Ernie Eves?

Conservatism and likeability don't really sit well together. You want likeable, the NDP's your bet.

Ernie Eves wasn't likeable. The last well liked PC Ontario premier was Bill Davis.

Like I said, when it comes time for ONPC to regroup/reset/reflect, they should change its name too like SKPC did (which is known as Saskatchewan Party now).

English public high school teachers are on strike for a day if an agreement isn't reach. It's those who are part of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF). Also part of that union are Educational Assitants, Early Childhood Educators and other support workers at both Elementary and Secondary public levels and also in many (but not all) other boards (French, Catholic) who will also be on strike on Wednesday.

Assuming the strike goes ahead, here in Timmins, the English public and French Catholic boards are affected but the English Catholic and French public board are not.

Leger poll:

Doug Ford is the least popular Premier by far in Canada.

Among Ontarians:

Positive opinion: 26%

Negative opinion: 69%

Don't know: 5%
