The mix of scale in architecture is where Philly impresses. A great metropolis with a rich story.

The last time I ever connected with my Mother was when I lived in Fishtown. I will always be fond of philly.

Wow, intense.

Several nice shots of Spruce Hill, a neighborhood so close to Center City yet often overlooked by visiting photogs. Good stuff.

I went to school nearby (Penn)and remembered how awesome the neighborhood is so it was tops on my list of places I wanted to check out. To me, it's one of the most unique neighborhoods in Philly, architecturally speaking.

Thanks

Love the photo of City Hall as seen looking down North Broad Street. That is my favorite view in the city--with the magnificent Second Empire City Hall in the center framed by the exotic spires/towers of the Arch St. Methodist Church, the Masonic Temple, the PNB bell tower and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Very grand and elegant!

Thoroughly enjoyed that thread. The type of thread where you spend a minute or two looking at each photo. Seriously amazing stuff. Thank you.
