So everyone HAPPY. Huh. A huge conversation for WHAT! I'll tell you NOTHING. Read my POST as I said a plane can't hit this building and if it could nothing would happen.

Mods. Can this thread be cleaned up from the obvious side topic so that the actual topic posted, i.e. the most iconic tower can be, once again, discussed?

For my 2 cents, the Eiffel Tower is without doubt the most iconic and recognisable tower in the world.

This list is back when I was about 13 When I knew alot but didn't know every single skyscraper that was going up
1. Eifel Tower
2. Empire State Building
3. Big Ben
4. Leaning tower of piza
5. Sears Tower and NO NOT WILLIS tower I don't know very many people who call it that even though that is its name it really is not remembered by it
6. Space Needle
7. Chrysler

and deffinently not The World Trade Center. To be honest I didn't even know that it existed intill 9/11.

I think the Sydney Opera House might belong in that list, although I don't know about the Space Needle.

heck it was named the second most popular landmark just behind the Statue of Liberty.

^ That's not a skyscraper but a statue. AND barely anyone I know knows about it. I doubt most Americans know about it. Maybe after the Olympics in 2016 more people will know.
