This is a truly breathtaking tower. A work of art, and a glimpse into the future, imo. The curves give the structure such a wonderful organic quality.

Except for the fact the Shanghai's skyscraper development has slowed down compared to other major Chinese cities and New York. Apart from the Shanghai Tower and White Magnolia Plaza there aren't any supertalls under construction and/or planned. Shenzhen is getting all the attention now, it will be China's show-off city.

no ,although its flashy Shanghai tends to adopt traits of other places and cannot seem to find an identity ,now new york? yeah .or london, due to the trend of evolution in architecture from block to block you can see the blend.here we see a prime example of over development resulting in an odd skyline

Really? I think it one of the best anywhere. Better than Dubai, as good as Hong Kong, and by far the best of any Chinese city (save for the aforementioned Hong Kong). The signature buildings are of the absolute highest quality. Where else would you find something like Jin Mao? SWFC? Shanghai Tower?

Very few skyscraper cities have their own unique style. New York. Chicago. Hong Kong. Maybe Tokyo.
