I think this one is now at 10-12 floors above grade, and while small-ish overall, it looks as though it's going to be a fair bit taller than the extended stay buildings right behind it when finished...
Whatever that other material is that they're using for the exterior, it already looks dirty. You can see it in the picture but it looks worse up close.
I went to see this today, I saw a few off coloured in the back of the building but the front and side pieces looks pretty good --- the rain will wash off the few dirty pieces.
also, the rain changes the colour of these - it becomes dark grey

Is that the same stuff they used at Claridge Plaza because parts of that building still look dirty despite the rain and snow that have fallen?
It will be taller than the extended stay suites behind it by the end of the week (actually, the piers/pillars for the next floor are already higher than the roof of all of the buildings around it).
Looks like it's for support. I imagine to distribute the weight of the slimmer segment above so it isn't putting all it's weight on the area directly bellow? My best guess.
