I don't care for the black and white colour blocks. It just looks cheap.

This black and white theme is part of a series from this firm with a few towers already completed. The one that compares the most with YC is Lago in Humber Bay Shores. It stands out in the sea of blue green glass which is never good for a poorly executed and mediocre theme. DNA 3 is the same team as YC. It is butt ugly. The LED lighting doesn't make up for it either. [lighting = https://www.realtor.ca/Residential/S...6K3N3-Niagara]

Nice update Caltrane.

So, Casa 3's tower is an identical twin. I was expecting different balcony glass. Disappointing. Sad.

How dull life would be if we all liked or disliked the same things. Things that you think look nice others might think look cheap or poorly executed. Your opinion matters as much or as little as others.

How hypocritical of you. You go off about people having different opinions but, here you are once again, flipping out because my opinion is different than yours.

I hope as yonge street intensifies, they'll replace those hideous red traffic light mast arms. Id love to see us embrace traffic standards like short black ones in central Montreal.

I actually like the BIA's choice here. It's modern compare to every other BIA that went more traditional. The arms holding the signage should be red. The blue street sign doesn't fit but, I believe standardization is the right route for these. The left hand turn sign should be a programmable LED.

Yeah I've never minded them either despite the hatred they seem to get on urbantoronto. What I don't like is Ontario's standardized yellow traffic lights - it would make a world of difference if they could be black. That's not happening any time soon though, and I do understand that from a safety perspective they are probably the best. And still better than in some places that have the massive light standards that arch over the entire roadway.

Montreal's lights look nice but not gonna lie, as someone who was mainly use to driving in Alberta and Ontario I almost ran a red light my first time driving in the central city!

There are black stoplights in select locations in Ontario. Downtown Richmond Hill has them.

I recall a fair amount of dark green standards when i was really small. This is one area where safety takes precence. The street signs are butt ugly but, they have made it easier for drivers to navigate.

Yeah, Montreal signals are ridiculously low. They are side by side with pedestrian signals.

I don't know which is more soul sucking, DNA 3 or the building directly south of it on King Street.

This tower and the underground LRT will make Yonge Eglinton a more interesting place, I hope.

That thing is a beast. It's been 2 years since I've been up there. Hell I spend more time in Vancouver then I do North of Bloor. Can't wait to see it in person.

Most opinions on here tend to be opinions.

This tower is basically holding me over till 81 Bay and The One start.

Will be excited for a bit, when they start site prep, but will be bored again as it can take a couple of years for things to get interesting.

Not much to see at Tea House unless you peer over the fence.
