The entire Well is surprisingly being built at the same time. All the towers will be changed to under construction soon enough.

"not promising" is an open ended expression. E Condos is an extruded box with a copy and paste patterned facade. 5 floors or 50 isn't going to make that much of a difference between not liking it now or later.

I agree. There's not enough with the middle floor among the partially clad floors having no cladding at all. What's there doesn't look good.

Looks ok to me, especially at Yonge-Eglinton.

It will easily be the best tower in the area.

Great update Caltrane, this thing will look pretty interesting, especially being right near Yonge. Midtown update will be up in a few hours.

Cheap glass on TDC 2. And, sadly, TDC3 (launched today), same boring architecture.

That's too bad, maybe it will look better when it all comes together.

No surprise. Still, it doesn't look bad from a Toronto's perspective and, in particular, what Canderel produces here.

It will only get worse. In order to add more floors, they got rid of the sculpted crown. And to think that there will be another one, identical to that. Poor Montreal.

We have a good picture now on how E Condos will turn out. It still doesn't look good.

According to to some members, we're not suppose to say that until the tower is finished.

It does happen where people judge on an unfinished product. This is the final cladding on a 5 storey block with a few missing railing panels here and there and some yet to be installed vertical panels. (can see the supporting structure if you look closely) Those aren't going to make a difference on how you view this cladding.

You know what they say.

There are two types of people in the world. Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data

Unfortunately too many of those who think they fall into that category usually don't. It's like most clients I deal with in the commercial world. You show them a first render pass, zero textures, zero lighting and they have already decided that the spot doesn't look how they want it to. Or complain about things they have no knowledge about.

Yes it's possible to visualize how a building will turn out before it's 100% complete but sometimes it can all be in the finishing details that make to break it. So sorry if I and others choose to wait.

No. The situations are not at all alike.
