I passed the construction site today and it is buzzing with activity. I couldn't get a good view into the actual site, but I did snap one photo from across Park Ave.

They are working on the back part of the lot now. That's the 28th St side.

What a great rendering!!!

Love the way that the first 12 stories of the Park Ave side mimic the surounding buildings in shape and size and then the rest of the building seems to be exploding out of it!

Another gem that will be hidden in Midtown. Should have been taller, at least 700'.

I agree with the look of this tower -- it's exploding in all directions!

Frankly, I don't like it. Too short and fat for such a design.

It will be nice to see this masterpiece juxtaposed against the nearby New York Life Building.

This will be near the Madison Square Park area, near the flat-iron building. There are only a few legit skyscrapers over there, so it should be plenty visible.

^ It won't really FIT IN the area in which it's being built, BUT then again what building fits IN the area its being built. There's no definite design that a building should pertain to, and thus we have a huge cluster of buildings that don't fit in, which in my opinion is a good thing because it gives us a variety of buildings in NYC.

This will be an interesting one to see rise. This one won't need height to make a statement.
